Anoni, on your system.
Free, just an email. The installer is light. On first launch, Anoni downloads the engine and models (~2.5 GB), once. After that everything runs locally. The same app on macOS, Windows and Linux. Your documents never leave your machine.
On first launch, Anoni asks for an email to activate the free version. Just once. No card, nothing about your documents.

On macOS, the app is signed and notarized by Apple. It opens with a double-click. On Windows, it isn’t signed yet. Your browser may show “Publisher: Unknown” and a SmartScreen warning. This is normal. Keep the file, then click “More info” → “Run anyway”.

- 8 GB of RAM recommended (4 GB minimum)
- Disk space
- ~3 GB. The engine and detection models, downloaded once on first launch.
- Processor
- Any recent 64-bit CPU. No graphics card required (Apple Silicon, Intel, AMD).
- Internet
- Once, on first launch. After that, pull the Wi-Fi: anonymization keeps working.
On macOS 11, 12 or 13.3?
Anoni now needs macOS 13.4. The reason is concrete: below that, the library that opens and redacts PDFs does not load, so the app could not keep its promise. If you cannot update macOS, do not install the update the app offers you — your current version keeps working, the new one will refuse to open.
